London and England for 7 Days...First Time Solo For That Long
I may be the biggest idiot of all time. I just booked a flight in and out of London for a week in April. Alone. As a first time international flight/trip as a woman.
I've only ever travelled to Canada from the US, and never alone. I've gone on solo trips before (to the beach, to neighboring tourist cities), usually no more than 2 days and I generally have my dog with me for companionship. This is truly my first time alone alone.
I just got a bee in my bonnet and said fuck it, you're not getting any younger. Go.
I've always wanted to go to England. I'm making it happen. And I'm scared shitless.
How do I keep myself safe? Am I worrying needlessly? Are the British people friendly? I keep remembering a friend of mine who came back from a solo work trip and said everyone was super mean and passive aggressive and teased her.
