I looked into Charles Schwab simply because the ATM fees are reimbursed. I also just read about the prepaid Mastercard through Travelex. Does anyone have experience with these? Any other suggestions?

I don't really know my itinerary once I'm there which is why my title is ambiguous. I've got friends in Peru and planning to stay there for a chunk of time but also would like to travel north through Central America.
